Check back here regularly to find out what's going on at Twydall Community Centre.
The centre played host to a truly special event over Christmas period of 2019 as Janet organised our first hamper collections for the local community. Donations were gratefully received from the wonderful residents of Twydall as well as the parents and children from Featherby school. In total, we were able to provide 8 hampers to members of the community which were delivered shortly before the Christmas break. We were astounded by the generosity of the community and cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for some very special people.
With the situation as it has been since early 2020, we were unable to do the hampers last Christmas. We are hopeful that we can do something positive for Christmas 2021 so please keep checking in for updates.
Unfortunately, due to the closure of Community Centres during the course of the pandemic, the AGM was unable to go ahead in 2020 or 2021. We are hopeful that the AGM will be able to go ahead in 2022.
We have disabled access!
Our treasurer, Roger, spent many months researching the best option available to us to make our centre accessible and we are pleased to report that his hard work has paid off. Disabled access is now available at the rear of the hall, next to the entrance to the sports pavillion and right in front of the access bay.
