After the wonderful successes we had in 2019 with regard to fundraising for the centre's essential repairs, we are delighted to say that we're not stopping there. With more film clubs, boot fairs and craft events on offer, we are hoping to continue bringing the community together for many more years to come, a feat which could not have been achieved without our generous donators.


We're also pleased to announce that we now have disabled access into the Community Centre.



Regular Events

Fighting Fit with Kayleigh - Tuesdays at 10am. 



Freedom of Spirit have been at  Twydall Community Centre for a year! They meet every Thursday from 7pm.


"Freedom of Spirit has a lovely, warm, peaceful atmosphere and we welcome all who come.

Every Thursday evening, we have a Clairvoyant/Medium who give messages from Spirit loved ones, family and friends.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Entrance £4 with refreshments available before and after."



Meeting every other Sunday for historic table top war-games covering all periods from ancients to the future, and both land, sea and air (and space). In addition a range of board games are often played. Please see the links below for 2019 meeting dates and our Activities page for 2018 meeting dates.








Our indoor bootfairs are in full swing with one a month happening all through the winter months (October - March). We now have our dates for our summer bootfairs which will be on:


Sunday 19th April

Sunday 17th May

Sunday 28th June


Our summer boot fairs will include tables inside as well as car boots outside. Unfortunately we cannot accept vans.


We have 16 inside tables and 20 car spaces avaiable at £10 each. Tables are provided for inside stalls only. Please contact Janet to book your place.


Dates for our Autumn/Winter bootfairs are as follows:


Sunday 20th September

Sunday 18th October

Sunday 15th November.


Our Autumn/Winter bootfairs will be indoor only.


Our first  Summer Fair took place in July 2018 and what a fantastic day it was! Based on the feedback we received, the event was enjoyed by adults and children alike and was a great success. Our 2019 fayre was een bigger and better, with more stalls, visitors and activities. We are so grateful for all of the support our fantastic community provides us with!

Some lovely stalls games for the children to play and try to win a prize (which were very reasonably priced) bouncy castles , DJ, cream teas drinks a bar candy floss and popcorn and a raffle and tombolla to name but a few things ! Shows in the arena were well presented and entertaining! Everyone from the old to the young enjoying the sunshine a real family and community day! Thank you to all those who helped make this such a lovely day out! I will definitely be there again next year!"
